Welcome to my Yellowstone Vacation Pictures

This is just a photo slide show from my trip to Yellowstone National Park in the winter of January 2001. I wanted to spend time travelling the park and enjoying the scenery and wildlife while the park still allows the use of snowmobiles (snow coaches and busses are not for me, I get motion sick as most of you know). I do hope they reconsider the ban on snowmobiles in the parks and instead put sounds and emission restrictions on ANY vehicle that enters the park. I could have never taken all these photos if I was restricted to travelling in a group instead of by myself (with a friend).

Someday I may add a caption to each picture but I would not hold your breath as it will take a lot of time to do that. There are more pictures of course but 83 pictures is plenty for over the web. However maybe some of you will be fortunate enough to see my slide show someday in person as the slides themselves are AWESOME, especially on a big screen. Not allmy slides are posted here and the slide show contains slides from the drive out, the Snowy Mtn Range (in south eastern WY), Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park (roughly 200 +/- Slides)

If your connection is slow you may want to download a zipped version of the web site. This version contains all 83 jpg, a text file and lview so that you can view the photos. You would need to unzip the files to C:\yellow in order for the slide show to work. After unzipping the file on your hard drive, double click on lviewp1b, choose file, multiple open, Load from file, and choose Slides.txt, and choose open. This will display each slide for about 5 seconds and then move to the next one. Please do not sell my photos to anyone :)
